Is February a good time to visit Bhutan?
February is still cold in Thimphu and Paro but brightening, with clear mornings and the first plum and peach blossom in the lower valleys towards the end of the month. The Punakha Drubchen and Tshechu may fall in February or March, depending on the lunar calendar. Cranes are still in Phobjikha until about the end of the month. Losar, the Bhutanese new year, often falls in February.
What is the weather like in Bhutan in February?
Thimphu −1–14 °C, mostly dry; warming late in the month. Conditions differ by altitude and coast, so check the forecast for each stop a week before you travel.
