Is November a good time to visit Darjeeling Hills?
November is the sweet spot. The sky is clear, the holiday crowds have gone, and rates fall. Kangchenjunga shows most mornings, Sandakphu gives its clearest views, and the orange orchards at Sittong start to ripen. Tihar sometimes falls early in the month, and the Ghum festival around the toy train often begins at the end. Nights get cold, so bring layers.
